         Welcome to the Coloring Book. Have you ever wondered why we colour apples red but bananas yellow? 

             Well, it's because each of these items has its own special colour.

          Colour is one way in which we can tell that an apple is different from a banana.

             A

                            Now that you're inside, it's time to learn about the colours in your crayon box. 

            During your "colour quest" you will:

·         Read all about colour and the colours of rainbow

·         Make and present a poster about the colors in your crayon box.

·          Make a book  ''the rainbow colours''

·         You will then click on each of the coloured balls below to learn more about that colour. There you will find how the color is spelled and pictures of objects that colour.

·         Once you have visited each of the 5 different coloring pages you will make a poster presentation for 1 colour only.

·         Included on your poster presentation should be the spelling of the colour (the color should be spelled in the color of crayon you picked - example RED), a colored picture of one of the objects on that colouring page and the name of one object in your classroom of that colur.

. You will be graded on the following items:

·         individual participation

·         the completion of the two required readings

·         the poster presentation including the correct spelling of your chosen colour, overall neatness and creativity

·         group participation in the creation of a book

·         the ability to identify the primary colours in your crayon box
